How to Get Started

Activating the Perplexity Search Tool is simple and takes less than a minute. Here’s how:

1. Create the Tool Instance: Navigate to Mates & Tools > Tool Store. Search for Perplexity Search Tool and click + Create instance, then Validate.

2. Attach it to Your Mate: Go to Manage Mates and select the Mate you want to empower. Open the Tools tab, click + Attach tool, and select the "Perplexity Search Tool" instance you just created.

3. Update and Save: Click the Update button to save the new tool to your Mate.

That’s it! Your Mate is now ready to perform supercharged web searches.
